    Four A Penny was initially established as a rock cover band titled "R & R", covering music from bands such as Metallica, Deftones, Seether, Foo Fighters and many more. January 2011 saw the addition of ex Lucid and Aurora Theory guitarist, Kenne Loubser, joining the band and consequently forming "Four A Penny." Alongside a new member and a fresh approach to creating hard rock music, the band started to create original material with infusions from artist such as Bullet, Deftones, Trivium and Seether...

    Four A Penny was initially established as a rock cover band titled "R & R", covering music from bands such as Metallica, Deftones, Seether, Foo Fighters and many more. January 2011 saw the addition of ex Lucid and Aurora Theory guitarist, Kenne Loubser, joining the band and consequently forming "Four A Penny." Alongside a new member and a fresh approach to creating hard rock music, the band started to create original material with infusions from artist such as Bullet, Deftones, Trivium and Seether.

    Their sound style consists of a mixture between rock, grunge and metal infused to form their unique presence in the music industry. Four A Penny strive to make their music accessible to a wider audience with a selective taste for hard rock.

    As early as May 2011 they recorded their first 6 track self-titled EP which contains some powerhouse tracks and includes the single "All I've said", which received wide radio play all over South Africa.

    Gaining experience over time, Four A Penny has ensured that their hard working persona, astounding stage presence and passion for the music which they create, keeps evolving into a unique style which they keep refining.

    Having already recorded brand new material at Contour Productions with producer Neil Basson (Foto Na Dans), which is set for release in the last quarter of 2012, Four a Penny are presently engaged in finishing the last few tracks for their first full length album set for release in 2013.

    These 4 musicians strive to stay true to their style, blend each of their personalities and influences into the music they create and effortlessly convey infectious energy to the audience they perform to.
